So I helped deliver a baby today! Bet my week involved more Cervical Mucous than yours.

Just realised that part of my day was probably a bit more important then what I am reading or listening to.

There was a lot of blood, mucas and a little poo. But at the end there was this teeny tiny baby boy. The midwife couldn’t hold him and cut the cord, so she passed the less than a minute old baby to me. This kid was not even 45 seconds old and I was holding him.

I managed not to cry, the midwife did ask me if I was ok and I just said

“He’s beautiful”

I think the mother and family were worried I was going to run away with the baby and raise it as my own gay gay son.

As emotional as it was, I found the C-Section delivering twins on Monday more emotional. Don’t know why.
