It’s like Speilberg is his carer. Trying to stop him fucking up, and then cleaning up his mess.

Steven Spielberg on numerous occasions during the Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of The Crystal Skull extras.

Spielberg seems so disdainful of all of Georges’ choices, and with good fucking reason!

It is amazing that Lucas has ridden the success of three films for forty years! Everything else he touches is awful (Excepting Indiana Jones 1-3, you know, the ones where Spielberg said “NO,FUCK OFF GEORGE, THIS IS MY MOVIE”

Lucas gave us three of the best films in cinema history with well thought out characters, great action, humour, romance, intrigue. That was 1977

in 2008 he gave us Shia laBeouf swinging through a CGI jungle with CGI monkeys that looked just god awful.

I want to not hate him, but the more films and documentarys I watch the more I can’t ignore that everything he does is motivated by one thought

“How can this make me more money and allow me to fuck up something”

Point in case?

Wait? What? You are re-releasing the first film in a trilogy that came out 12 years ago and only concluded 7 years ago. It has only been 7 fucking years since the last one came out. Attack of the Clones is still going in fucking cartoon form. HOW SHORT DO YOU THINK MY MEMORY IS! You think I won’t notice this is the exact same fucking film I watched 12 years ago? And in fucking 3D. That is just insulting! It wasn’t shot in 3D so it is bound to be a blurry headache nausea inducing mess. I mean at least you had the decency to wait a few decades before re-releasing the original trilogy, and to be fair there was new technology around that could help improve it. Make it better. In fact you used said tech to completely fuck it up.

I don’t see Spielberg rushing out Jurassic Park 3D and if he did it would be with some dignity. It’s a film people love. No one loved The Phantom Menace. It would be like Spielberg do a special 3D re-release of A.I. No one fucking wants it!

I could write on for some time about how Lucas is just indulged by Hollywood. How he can do what he wants because his blood stream is made up of £100 dollar bills and he shits easily sellable merchandise. But instead I will just express a wish that someone, anyone will stand up to Lucas and say

“George, no, your ideas are shit. Please stop hurting everyone”

Spielberg have the balls to just say no to Georges’ ridiculous ridiculous ideas.
